tablemate costs $49 per month with a 14-day free trial. There are no cover commissions or per-booking fees charged to your guests. A $2/head fee is billed weekly every Monday to the restaurant based on confirmed covers.

Is tablemate an OpenTable alternative in Australia?

Yes. tablemate is an Australian-built alternative to OpenTable, ResDiary, and Dimmi. Unlike those platforms, tablemate charges no cover commissions to restaurants, giving you full control of your guest relationships.

Does tablemate charge commission per booking?

No. tablemate does not charge a per-booking commission to guests or restaurants. You pay a flat $49/month subscription plus a $2/head operational fee billed at the end of each month.

Can I accept online reservations through my own website?

Yes. Every restaurant on tablemate gets a custom booking page at tablemate.com.au/r/your-restaurant-name. You can also embed the booking widget on your own website.

Does tablemate send automated reminders to guests?

Yes. tablemate automatically sends 24-hour email reminders to guests before their reservation, and optional SMS reminders. No-show detection is also built in.

Is there a contract or lock-in period?

No lock-in. tablemate requires 30 days notice to cancel, or you can pay out the remaining month. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard.
